About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chinese Patent Agent to join our expanding operations in Suzhou, China. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a bilingual, cross-border legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications (domestic & PCT) in Mandarin and/or English
  • Conduct novelty, FTO, and invalidity searches
  • Support litigation and enforcement projects in coordination with our Japan and US teams
  • Advise on patent strategy for clients entering ASEAN and global markets
  • Coordinate with local clients and our ASEAN legal teams

Qualifications

  • Registered Patent Attorney in China (必要資格：中国専利代理人資格)
  • 3+ years of practical experience in patent prosecution or litigation
  • Technical background in electronics, software, mechanics, or chemistry preferred
  • Fluent in Chinese; English or Japanese is a strong plus
  • Able to work independently or remotely with high responsibility
